Do Japanese venues usually allow foreign streaming crews?

I’m curious about something I’ve noticed.
Whenever I ask questions about doing any kind of filming or streaming in Japan, the posts often get removed or people say it’s not possible.

Is it really that strict here?

Like, if someone has a small streaming team visiting from overseas, would most venues allow them to work inside?
Or do places normally require you to use whatever in-house AV or tech team they already have?

I’m just trying to understand how the rules work because the answers online seem very mixed.

If anyone has dealt with this or seen it happen, I’d love to know how it went.
