Hi all. I write this because it could be helpful to everyone.
I'm spending Cristhmas in my home country and I just got an email from Hainan Airlines saying that my return flight was cancelled.
Due to the recent situation between Japan and China it seems that Chinese flight companies will likely be cancelling most flights to Japan. I can't prove it, but both me and my wife (travelling on different days) have had our flights cancelled just now.
In the end I'll buy a different ticket that will be more expensive, that's the normal outcome for politicians playing with each other.
So my advice is to avoid using chinese companies to flight to Japan, or risk to have the flight cancelled, amd having to wait up to 2 weeks for the refund.
Hope it helps whoever is going back to their homecountry next month
