I’ve been looking at a few island trips in Japan and got curious what other people think.
If you’ve been to Okinawa or the Amami Islands, which one felt more memorable to you?
I’m especially interested in whether you visited any of the UNESCO heritage spots around those areas and how they felt in person. Some people say Okinawa feels more developed and others say Amami still has that quiet, untouched vibe.
What was your experience like? And if you’ve been to both, which one would you go back to?
