I am trying to understand what could be good options for car rentals that aren't too expensive. Based on what I can see on klook, kayak, and skyscanners car rental page there are some very cheap options (20 bucks per day) but those seem sketchy with some bad reviews (Hello rent a car) or no reviews (IX). I've heard good things about https://rent.toyota.co.jp/ but the issue there is that they are much more expensive then what I've seen on the sites and they only allow pick ups until 20:00 whereas my cousin would land there roughly 20:30 in Naha.
Any good car rentals you can recommend that also allow for later pickups? I think they are also okay with paying for the late pick up as we all worry that otherwise they won't be able to get a car.
