I'm not one to give up easily but am starting to feel like it's a lost cause. I've been rejected for a business bank account from SBI, SMBC, Aozora, and Kyoto Bank. My Japanese accountant checked all of my application papers were correct and even applied with me in person in 1 case. Still all rejected with no reason.
I've shown business contracts with clients and proof of pending work worth up to 20 million yen annually once the account is opened.
It seems like every week I just get more tax bills and rejection letters. A bit discouraging tbh.
Does anyone here have experience opening a business bank account for a GK? Which bank did you use?
