I have membership in one of the chain gyms in Tokyo, but not as popular as Anytime or Gold's. And I noticed something unique to Japan: there's absolutely no communication in the gym. By zero, I mean totally nothing.No one even asks about how many reps left or something like this.
Everyone just quietly waits until the machine is free. This is so different from the countries I was in before. Are your gyms the same in Japan?
