Good day!

For reference, I’m M24 (Filipino) and my wife is F24. I’m currently working here in the Philippines, while my wife is managing her business. I was previously denied a COE last year due to “failure to establish living conditions in Japan.” Since then, we’ve prepared more complete documents, clarified our living plans, and sought assistance from an attorney to make sure everything is properly addressed this time.

We submitted a new COE application today, and I just wanted to ask for insights from those who have gone through a reapplication with Tokyo Immigration.
How was your experience after a previous denial?
Were there any additional steps, interviews, or documents requested during the examination stage?

I’ve already consulted with an attorney, but I would really appreciate hearing from people with firsthand experience.
