I work a remote job for a large tech company in the US. This job only requires a laptop, so I could easily work in Japan. However, my employer doesn't technically allow me to live outside of the US.
If, hypothetically speaking, I were to attend language school in Japan for a semester while still working my remote job, same hours and everything, official address/citizenship still in the US– is that legal/possible?
