International Teaching Positions

Hi everyone,

I am currently a Head of Science at an international school in Europe. My wife is Head of languages (she is an IB French teacher) and we would like to move Japan. We both have had about 10 years in IB education experience and have taught internationally, we originally come from Australia.

I am wondering a few things. Where is a good place to look for positions that aren't controlled by the big international recruitment agencies, I.e.search associates.

Also, if anyone has any leads on positions available for next year, starting August 2026, it would be much appreciated.

Maybe we will try and pick another country in Asia and just travel to Japan for holidays.
