Hello. This is a post out of pure curiosity due to boredom and needing a break from preparing to go back to school next year. I was watching Oiwa's New Hero documentary, and something caught my interest with what he said. He states that he wants to bring NOAH's style of wrestling into NJPW, and that got me thinking about something.
What is the difference between the modern in-ring styles of New Japan and NOAH? I'm asking for differences relating to the modern era, so don't think about the days of Misawa, Kobashi, Hashimoto, and Mutoh. I'm thinking from the 2010s onward to today. What makes them so different now in comparison to the older generations of King's Road and Strong Style? Is there any real difference with how many pro wrestling styles and wrestlers have blended together over time? I just want some thoughts and references.
