Hi, I just moved into my new place at the end of Aug and payed for the rest of that month and the next's rent then. Was sent a conbini payment slip at the end of the next month and payed that way then. But then, come the end of this month, no slip came. I just wasn't aware most companies stop sending them after the first month, I thought that was just the default.
So I looked back over my renting contracts and saw I'm supposed to set up a direct debit to my rent guarantor company and pay them that way. So I tried to do that, but when I get to the part of the process where it switches to my bank's (MUFJ) website, it says error your name's カタカナは一致していません or something to that effect. So I eventually realised the guarantor company had my name spelled wrong by one character, so, assuming that was the problem I called them to get them to change it to match what's on my bank account, and they did after a few days of me calling them to check on progress, but I'm still getting the same error, even when, as far as I can tell, the names are the exact same, down to them being the right type of roomaji.
Not sure what to do at this point, any help would be appreciated, thank you.
(a side issue is that I have no idea how to pay my internet either because Web Banking won't take names over 9 characters and mine is much longer than that, and for some reason the website also doesn't like my phone number, have no idea what I'm going to do about that one)
