MMoving to Japan

Anyone here interviewed for the Discovery Program (Undergraduate) at Okayama University? I need some advice :D

I recently passed the document screening stage for the Discovery Program of Okayama University and I will have the interview tomorrow 😀

If you have taken the interview before, I would really appreciate your insights. Specifically, Im wondering about

  1. What type of questions did they focus on? Was it mostly about my essays? My study plan My motivation and long-term goals? Or more about current issues/critical thinking?

Any examples would be super helpful.

  1. How long was your interview and how many interviewers were there? Ive heard it can be between 30-45 minutes, but I’m not sure what to expect.

  2. What should I prepare in advance? Should I expect deep questions about my academic interests? Anything you wish you had prepared but didn’t?

Any tips or personal experiences would mean a lot.
