Is it common to move into a share house as a couple in Tokyo? Any advice or experiences?

Hi everyone !

My girlfriend and I are planning to move to Tokyo soon to study Japanese. We’re thinking about living in a share house

Our 2 main questions :

• How easy or difficult is it to find a share house as a couple compared to renting solo?

• Would you recommend other living arrangements over a share house for a couple studying in Tokyo ?

  Also if someone had the same experience and want to share some advice it'll be great !
