Hello everyone ❤️
I’m an 18-year-old girl in Iran, currently in my final year of high school.
I’ve dreamed of immigrating to Japan since I was a child.
To be honest, I was so focused on getting good grades in school that my Japanese isn’t very good yet!
My high school major is Humanities, and one of the jobs I’m really good at is teaching.
I love teaching English — in school, English was always my best subject, and I truly enjoyed learning it.
I’ve read many comments from kind Japanese people about English teachers immigrating to Japan.
Some mentioned that the income from teaching English isn’t enough to cover living expenses for a family (spouse or children).
But I’m single, and I don’t think the low income would be a big problem for me.
My plan is to immigrate when I’m around 30.
Because if I study English literature at university now (at 18), I’ll graduate at 22, and then I’ll need to work in Iran for 8 years to fulfill my obligation as a teacher here.
That means, by the time I move to Japan, I’ll have about 8–12 years of experience in teaching English — and of course, I’ll continue improving my Japanese during that time.
To be honest, I sometimes get help from AI 😅, but I think your real opinions would be much more helpful.
🇯🇵 Japan has always been my dream.
👉 Do you think I should keep following this plan, or should I change something about it?
