Admission period in Language school’s

Hello Everyone!

I am currently a high school student and am planning to study in Japan through the language school route. From what I have found (correct me if I am wrong and add any missing information), there are two main intake periods: April and October. My finals will happen around April too, so I won't have my results ready for the April Intake, but I would be able to apply for the October Intake. Still, my concern is that my results will arrive a bit late (May-June). I know that the admission process needs to be started 6 months prior, which lands me in March, so I will be receiving my results in the middle of my admission process, and I am worried that it may hamper it, and I would have to apply for language school next year (2027).

  1. Every school has different deadlines and policies. You need to contact the school(s) you’re interested in and ask them directly.

  2. Most language schools allow admission every 3 months. January, April, July, October.

Admission windows will vary, but expect to have to start the process at least 5 months in advance, and have everything submitted at least 3 months in advance. Check with the school or advisor, but this is pretty standard.
