Chances of finding a job on base?

I've went to school on base and live here my whole life (20) currently a dependent. I know at 21 you wont be able to stay because of sofa or whatever. I feel like its going to be hard getting a job at aafes as i feel they're likely to prioritize veterans and people way more qualified than me, ect. I've applied to around 5 aafes job listings but i get nothing back at all, only once, but it was telling me they didn't decide to chose me. Personally i REALLY don't wanna stay here but i dont know what else 😭
