A few weeks ago, I asked how easy it was to be veggie in Japan. I received a lot of discouraging replies saying it was verging on the impossible.
I've just come back from two weeks in Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka, and the surrounding areas. There are plenty of veggie restaurants and, if you plan carefully, a good range of restaurants with veggie friendly options.

I hope that's useful to my fellow veggies planning a trip. While you might have to dodge bonito, you will find food and snacks suitable for your diet.
