Rental car for 4 days or just use transit?

Hello all! I will be going to Okinawa for 4 days and the time will be split between Naha area and Aharen. Between my friends and I, we’re trying to see if it’s worth it to rent a car or just use public transit. I have my Japanese License and have rented cars in the past.

Also if you have any “YOU MUST TRY” or “YOU MUST GO HERE!” I would love to hear them! Their only restriction is nothing zoo/animal related (they’re anti-zoo, I won’t comment further).

Currently on the itinerary list (we are just using it as a guide and hit them if we have time / if it looks good based on weather) – Bonus points if you have used a company to rent / borrow a crew for an OC-6:
-Naha City Center
-Fukushien Gardens
-Naminoue Shrine/Beach
-Kokusaidori
-Heiwadori
-Makishi market
-Urasoe
