I'm coming to Okinawa until the end of february and I would like to maximize my stay.
First is Okinawa good for surfing !? I'm a begginer and I would like to take some classes more or less regularly. I can stand up on a board but not really a lot more. Do you have any recommendations of a surf school with english speaking teachers and some offers if you take 10/20 or more classes ?
And also is there is a lot of spots for surfing ? Even for begginers !?
Other question is more global, I'll stay a long time, nearly 3 months. What would you recommend for me to maximize my pleasure during my stay ?

I love Okinawa as much as I love surfing, but it sucks for surfing especially for beginners.
Lots of long paddle outs and shallow reef breaks. I would hate to learn here, and even if you have some experience it sucks compared to most places. You’d be better off getting kite boarding lessons or going snorkelingdiving
Don’t let me turn you off from Okinawa though, it really is an amazing spot besides how shitty the surf is.
