I have reached my goal amount for my emergency savings. So from 2026, I am planning to use all my surplus income to investing which is approximately 150k~/ month.
But, as I am doing my research, almost 70% of people mentioned NISA. How profitable is NiSA? My colleagues told me Nisa is not really not that much profitable. So I am torn again.
What are the other investment options that I have? Can I buy US stocks even if I am not a US citizen or no US bank account? Is there any scheme here where we can give small investments to small companies and get some benefits as they grow?
I only have working visa, so owning properties is probably out of the question.
I am also at work most of the time, so I would prefer something that requires less of my attention.
PS. Sorry in advance if this question has been asked a number of times already. I am not really financially literate. I am still trying to do my own research while juggling everything. I grew up from a family who is a big believer of savings and investments are bad and risky. But I want to break free from that mindset.
