I am interested in a Sansei Visa in the future and am trying to track down my grandmas Koseki. She married my grandfather in the 50s and moved to the US in 1957. My grandfather was in the US Army. I have her Japanese passport, her marriage certificate, her death certificate, her US Naturalization Certificate but I cannot find a domicile on any of the documents. Her passport lists Rumoi City, Hokkaido but nothing refers to the exact domicile for me to request the Koseki. She seems to have been very vague on US paperwork and I am struggling to find the address. Does anyone have any suggestions or guidance by chance? Any help would be appreciated as I am starting to get discouraged. Thank you!
