I needed a bit of guidance and help since I feel like I'm in a bind here.
I have to relocate near Sendai, Miyagi for job (long term relocation). Optimal area: Near Izumi-chuo Station (Izumi-Ku, Sendai).
The thing is, I have to move out of my current place in Tokyo by December 31st by all means (can't be extended). So I have to figure out a place to live in these 2 weeks ( I think all services would be closed during last week 29th Dec – 4th Jan).
Preferred size: 1DK (or 1K ).
Budget: upto 50K Yen/month.
My accommodation hasn't been decided yet and I don't know anybody in Sendai to stay there and figure out accommodation later. I'm looking at Leopalace furnished properties given there reputation for quick move-in procedures (within 1-2 weeks). But there are only 1K options ( It is costing me around ~55K Yen/month and initial cost ~180K Yen). I was wondering if UR rental properties can be arranged before December 31st. I am okay arranging furniture at a later point of time (given AC is available in the UR). If it is possible, I would really be grateful if someone can connect me to a reliable agent. Travelling to Sendai for contract signing is possible.
EDIT: Regarding UR and other normal apartments, I didn't have much knowledge about them. My initial understandings was Leopalace offers furnished apartments and I was coupling the rest as UR apartments.
On another note, I heard that there's generally a minimum 2 years lease for URs. How much does one pay in penalties in case I decide to end the contact before 2 years
