Came across this Indonesian tourist shaving his beard or whatever it’s left of it with the electronic shavers at Narita Airport.
I do know it’s to test and see how it works but I did not take it literally you could shave your facial hair when testing an electrical shaver. Correct me if I’m wrong.
Again not here to condemn anyone just curious to know if this is a way to test shavers at Narita airport electric shop.

Filming people in public and then posting it online is horrible
got my popcorn, i’m ready
Narita airport is not Tokyo, no matter what they try to tell you!
Please delete this post and put it in /r/Chiba where I can delete it for being inappropriate. Why you gotta be focusing on people like that? We don’t need no video.
Who’s the weirdo filming random people
New Mr Bean Asia.
Bro, go about your day….
Yep, totally normal. In Japan people only shave at electronics stores. Please come again when you have another great question
Filming people aside, no this isn’t normal. It’s also really unhygienic and how you can pass various skin conditions. Eww.
So it is normal to test out the electric shavers in Japan. Wow truly a futuristic people
No, it is not normal behavior. And I’d imagine it is the same in Indonesia and the vast majority of countries
Have you not been to an electronics shop? Try before committing a fuckton of money
You wouldn’t see that in haneda that’s for sure 😂
No, it’s not normal behavior at all putting peoples pictures on here is extremely terrible behavior. I would say universally across all continents.
I see people use makeup testers to do their makeup / touch up in drug stores every now and then. Is it sanitary? No. But it happens.
Filming like this tho…
I was looking at electric razors a few years ago but imagine my surprise when someone’s hair and skin residue came out of it. 🤮
I have seen folks do this in bic camera and other houseware stores before, but I do not think it is normal, nor should it be.

*I did not take it literally you could shave your facial hair when testing an electrical shaver.*
I mean, obviously you *literally* can. He’s *literally* doing it in the video.
“Not here to condemn anyone” you posting them online where mob lynching continues to happen. Low class behavior is yours
Let he who has never sprayed themselves with airport aftershave or perfume cast the first stone
Which dumbass thought it was a good idea to charge the display units of electric shavers?
Please tell me they don’t do this with electric toothbrushes lol.
That nasty
Not normal human behavior in any country. I wonder what kind of answer you expected lol
I swear a person could take a fat shit on a doorstep and there’d still be someone like hey I saw this human turd on the floor, is this normal in Japan???
Joking aside I actually have seen a salaryman shave on the Chuo line a couple of times during the morning commute. At least it was his shaver though.
Are you really not sure?
Normal – no. But there are always a few.
I was opening the shaver heads to check compatibility with a model I have and need a part for and 50% of the shavers had stubble in them. Gross AF.
A long time ago I had a couple of Japanese friends stay at my house and one of them ‘tested’ my shaver without asking or mentioning it. I guess he was just curious but man… Come on.
Hope he didn’t ‘test’ my toothbrush as well.
