do and dont for preparing if company will close down business in Japan

Hi all,

Due to my manager’s decision to pause business expansion and the current uncertainty around the company, I am concerned that the Japan branch may be closed (am not sure, although i am still doing a lot of work). I guess my boss try to close down the business because he has a second job, and he no longer excited to add new client despite my main office still want to work on some project in APAC. As a permanent employee, I am not fully clear about labor protections or what our rights would be in this situation.

I would like to understand what protections apply and whether any compensation or remuneration would be provided, so I can prepare myself financially if needed. what is the do and dont during such situation?
