  • During his entrance Drilla sees a fan in the front row who I assume (as we didn’t really see it on camera) has a sign for him, and goes out in the crowd to interact with her.

  • After the entrances are over, Unaffilated Dogs somewhat uncharacteristically jump the faces when their backs are turned to head to their corner.

  • Kitakita Brothers and Bishamon stay in the ring, eventually we end up with Goto and Shingo the first pair completely alone in the ring.

  • Post match, I believe Shingo and Drilla were taunting Goto with an E.Honda taunt? They

Monster Sauce (Alex Zayne, Lance Archer) def Zane Jay, Boltin Oleg — (10:03, Blackout)

  • Jay still has his red Monster Sauce wrist tape on.

  • After the entrances, Archer starts asking Jay why he’s on the other side instead of on their team (yes if you remember Archer on our last show said he was done with teaming with Jay because he always loses).

  • They decide to go with Zane vs Zayne to start. Archer is somewhat successful getting a “Za(y)ne” chant going. Jay sheds his wrist tape.

  • Post match, Oleg helps Jay to the back. Archer says to the camera that he wants K.O.B to win tonight because Monster Sauce want to take the titles from them.

Yoshinobu Kanemaru, SANADA[t-shirt version], Ren Narita def Shoma Kato, Shuji Ishikawa, El Desperado — (7:53, Cross Kneebar)

  • Rare clean HoT start between Nobu and Despe.

  • HoT Shenanigans level: moderate.

Dick Togo Dick Togo II, Chase Owens, Yujiro Takahashi, Don Fale, EVIL def Katsuya Murashima, Toru Yano, Yuya Uemura, Shota Umino, Hiroshi Tanahashi — (9:08, Scorpion Deathlock)

  • Shota and Yuya are wearing the NJPWxSatsuma Kawachi City shirts special for todays show. They pose with Tana at the entrance. When the entrances are over they toss the shirts out into the crowd.

  • Another somewhat rare clean HoT start, Shota with Chase; but within a few seconds Yuj comes in for double teams.

  • HoT Shenanigans level: moderate.

  • Post match, EVIL steals the NEVER 6 title but Yano attacks him. Ren and SANADA come out to save EVIL.

  • EVIL gets a mic: “Hey, shut up! Hey Yano, sucks to be you. Next, in Kumamoto [WTL Finals on the 14th], me Narita and SANADA for those belts! It's official! There's no way you get a title match in the Tokyo Dome!”

  • EVIL leaves the belt with Yano. No big celebration for Tana’s last match here, he just leaves with the rest of the loser face team.

Jakob Austin Young, Callum Newman, Great-O-Khan def Gedo, Hiromu Takahashi, David Finlay — (0:42, Excalibur)

  • Callum slides out of the ring to try and jump the faces(? More face than UE at least), but Finlay throws Hiromu into him.

  • We get a very long outside brawl during which Finlay goes all the way to the merchandise stand, where he throws Callum over the table into the shirt boxes, then throws shirts at him. They eventually get back to ringside and GOK hits Hiromu with a chair.

  • Callum brings Gedo into the ring to finally start the match.

  • Post match, Callum briefly beats up Gedo. GOK gives him a chair, Callum sets up decapitating Gedo with the chair but Finlay saves him. Finlay throws the chair at Callum, who retrieves it and sits in the aisle.

  • Finlay asks for a mic. He heard Callum and GOK want a rematch against he and Hiromu. Finlay says they’ll get it in Kumamoto.

  • Callum and Finlay yell a little shit at each other as UE leave.

  • As Finlay leave he whacks Yasuda for some reason??

Hartley Jackson, Ryohei Oiwa, Zack Sabre Jr. def Satoshi Kojima, Taichi, El Phantasmo — (10:20, Zack Driver)

  • The Hontai team all come out to ELP’s music. He stops and puts his LED glasses on Kojima, and Koji’s music starts playing.

  • After the entrances, Zack steps up to Taichi. They separate to converse with their teams, and we end up with ELP deciding to start… until he sees Hartley on the opposite side. He tries to get Kojima to take his place but it doesn’t happen.

  • Post match, Taichi briefly stays at ringside to chat with Zack and Oiwa.

  • Oiwa puts on a shirt and goes to be a guest on Japanese commentary.

  • Update: In his Backstage Comments, ELP says he’ll be bringing back the TV title open challenge on the next show, and every show until WK.

WTL 2025 Semifinals: Gabe Kidd, Yota Tsuji (A2) def Knock Out Brothers (OSKAR, Yuto-Ice) (B1) — (20:37, WAR BLASTER)

  • Gabe, who’s got tape and a sleeve on his right elbow waits at the entrance for Tsuji; they’ve gotten back on the same page again.

  • Gabe steps up to start with Yuto.

  • Bomboclaat level: 1

  • This was really good.

  • Post match, Gabe stares down Oiwa on commentary. Zack comes out and Oiwa joins him to go to the ring and stare down UWD; Zack paired with Tsuji and Oiwa with Gabe; then they switch antagonists.

  • TMDK leave.

  • Tsuji gets the mic. “Hey Gabe, I said all along, if we are able to combine our efforts, nothing can stop us. Let's go, one more time!”

  • Gabe cuts a promo, saying in English what the finals match then telling Tsuji in Japanese “World tag league 2025- are you ready?”

  • They shake hands and go to the ringposts to celebrate.
