Is there any way to find out about conventions/events/concerts in Aomori prefecture?

In America I would take my wife to conventions a lot and frequent wrestling shows often thanks to regional event sites.

Ever since moving to Aomori we have been lost in how to find out if anything is happening if it's not on a poster in the nearest konbini. I checked most city hall websites and theater sites but they don't forecast very well I see.

Heck I would have never known there was a Christmas market at Aoimui Park if the neighborhood onsen didn't have an ad for it!
