For anyone who has used the My First English set by Benesse, would you recommend it? If not, what alternatives would you suggest that are not YouTube-based?
While I really enjoy living in Japan, my work may require me to relocate in the future. For that reason, I want to make sure my child builds a strong foundation in English from an early age, in preparation for attending an international school in Japan or potentially abroad. English is not my first language, but I speak it exclusively to my newborn. The Benesse set seems like a good aid for helping me teach my child English in a more structured way.
Although I’m aware that there is a lot of high-quality free content on YouTube, I’m cautious about introducing my child to screens and devices too early.
