I fly in two days from KIX to SFO. We renewed our son's passport this year but never went to immigration to update anything and I just realized it as I was sorting out the luggage this evening. I cannot, for the life of me, remember if that is something I must do before we travel. My urgency is in that I can go tomorrow if I need to luckily. But, it is a four hour round trip so I am hoping for some solid information on if I need to go in or not. Yes, we have residence card's that are currently valid as are our passports.
