For some context, I moved here on a spouse visa back in July and I am just starting to work and have not had any income here in Japan yet. My understanding is that any income including annuity, dividend and etc. needs to be reported to the Japanese government. But the forms in states side don’t come until a couple months into the new year. What is the normal practice for filing for your overseas income?
