I went to sushi happy hour and they said it would cost $5 extra per roll to give me real crab instead of the imitation crab that was listed on the happy hour menu. I said sure, gimme the real stuff.
When the rolls came, I pulled out what's in the pic, which appeared to me to be imitation crab meat. The waiter tried to argue with me that it was real crab meat, but I insisted it wasn't and they eventually took the order off the bill.
Are any crab rolls made with long strips of snow crab meat? I've only had real crab meat sushi rolls with chopped crab meat, so this didn't look or taste real at all to me. Was I right or wrong?
