Change (not renew) of visa status and updating mynumber card

Hi! I recently changed my status of residence and received a 3 year visa.

My mynumber card is currently valid until March 2026 (the expiry date of my original visa)

Do I need to go and update/renew the mynumber asap, or am I okay to leave it a few weeks more as it’s valid until mid March?

I’m making an unexpected emergency visit to my home country this week and wondering whether I should squeeze in a trip to city office before I leave, or if I can do it when I return in a few weeks.

Does status change (not renewal) require a mynumber update within 14 days?
