Hello, I was hoping to receive some advice on changing jobs once N2 is completed.
I recently took N2 in December. Although I am not 100% sure, I felt positive and managed to finish all the reading in time.
I passed N3 in the summer.
I am currently living with my Fiance, who wants me to change jobs bc my Eikaiwa schedule is very different from his work schedule.
He is insisting I could get an IT job with no experience and N2 Japanese, and he says I can communicate with him, so my level should be enough.
He is also advising me to get an IT Passport, but I really think I need to finish N1 to be able to do it.
I have really bad social anxiety though, and my Keigo is not very good. I am thinking a hotel job would warm me up for business related interactions. I try to explain to him that when I speak to strangers I get very nervous and my Japanese gets worse. The ultimate goal is to try to get an IT job , but I really feel like I need a bit more time to prepare.
What do you guys think? Would it be better to try for N1 first and get a warm up job?
