Hello,
My previous company is taking their sweet time providing me with the documents necessary for applying for national health insurance. As I have already had my last day, I am no longer covered by the health insurance through the company..
I don't want to stay uninsured, and I likely won't be able to apply for national health insurance until next week. It seems like travel insurance wouldn't work, but does anyone have recommendations of something I can do to get insured in the meantime? Like an alternative insurance solution?
I am still within that 14 day gap and spoke with 区役所 on what to do if I don't get the documents from the company in time. I'm only looking to find a temporary solution on how to stay insured until I can enter national health insurance 🙂
