Apartment hunting with my husband who will be working in Tokyo. We were looking at an apartment in Warabi (about 5 minutes from the station, we already did a video tour of the place) but since neither of us are from there (he’s from Gifu prefecture, I am a foreigner from the States), we don’t know what life is like in the area, particularly with safety. Does anyone have any insight on the area?
Other recommended cities to look at in Saitama?
We have to move before February, so time is ticking for us but I also don’t want to be too hasty about this decision.
Edit: thank you everyone for your input! I showed my husband and we’ll definitely also check out some of the areas around and see if we find anything we like that’s in our budget.
