I've got a bunch of scratches on the roof of my camper can after removing the old roof fan. Local body shops are being difficult because i dont speak Japanese and they think i should go to a camper van specialist. I'm in inaka – deep.
Im not really interested in paying 200,000 yen for something i could do myself in an hour.
I found this paint on Amazon that matches my car and i have an HVLP sprayer already.
The things i dont feel confident about are
- can i use this with an hvlp sprayer – i think so because it says its already thinned out
- do i need to add a hardnener? The same company sells a hardener but i dont see anywhere saying i need to mix in a hardener. I think you always need a hardener.
If any experts out there could use a confidence booster/ second opinion
