There was news floating around that because of the raise, my BOE might terminate their contract with JET for budget reasons. Someone from the BOE confirmed that these talks were being had but has yet to release the verdict.
Of course every situation is different, but I'm wondering what happened to other people here who went through a swap for similar reasons (BOE cutting JET). I'm going into my 3rd year now, so this would be in regards to the 4th year that gets cancelled.
Were transfer BOEs basically random in terms of putting you in the pool of available ALTs? I would really love to stay in Kansai because of the social circle I built here, but yeah. Just wondering about other experiences.
