My phone died and Suica (oddly) stopped working, JR thinks I’m still on Yurakucho. What can I do?

I don’t live on a JR line so idk how I can swipe out. my phone was dead and iphones Suica app is supposed to work even when dead. the gate didn’t close so I thought it worked but evidently not.
