Hello, we are currently planning our trip to Japan for August 2026. We plan on arriving in Tokyo August 1st. We've been doing some reading and we understand that August is known for Typhoon peaks. Our plan was to end our trip (August 16th to 23rd) in Okinawa but apparently those dates are more risky for Typhoons than if we would go from the 7th to 14th for example. Is this correct? Following this information, we were then planning on heading to Okinawa right after Tokyo (6th to 14th approx). The rest of our plan for this trip was also to include visits to Osaka, Kyoto and Hiroshima. Thanks in advance for your advice.
