I don’t think I’ve ever gotten an email like this before so I just want to make sure 1) it’s legit and 2) I’m good to just ignore it and keep waiting for my new 在留カード like normal.
My 在留カード is about a week from expiring and I got an email today asking me to apply for a new card online. The email was from info@ rasens-immi. moj. go. jp and contained log in information. It wants me to log into a website and make my application for a new 在留カード there.
Thing is, I already applied for a new 在留カード in person. I’ve also never done any submissions related to immigration online before, so I’m confused as to why I got this email in the first place. Am I good to ignore it?
