want to use apple pay !!

hi everyone

i was wondering if you could give me advice on how im able to use apple pay

context: my home country’s banks/cc arent compatible on apple pay and the banks/cc/online payment accounts i have in japan are only yucho, mercard, paypay

i wanna transfer to using my ic card on my phone (as i have experienced forgetting my physical card at home and ended up buying a new card or ticket which i find so annoying lol)

any suggestions on what i can apply for?

fyi im currently a student so maybe applying for credit cards might be difficult.
