Hello, I’ve tried to search this and similar Reddits, also a major search online but feel unsure since there aren’t a lot of reviews, only that it’s one of the bigger share house companies in Kyoto.
Has anyone stayed with 8NEST?
I have been sent an invoice for rent, deposit and fees and a Contract template. It states that I have to pay first and then send a photo copy of my ID or passport through email, and in approximately one week before move in I will get the contract to sign – which is in 2.5 months that I’ll move in. Is this common, to pay and wait this long for a contract to sign? Has anyone had any experience with this company? Any good insights?
I will ask clarifying questions to the company as well.
Any help is highly appreciated! I live abroad and will start school in Kyoto on April 1st, so the hunt for accommodation is tricky.
