Applied for a job listed as full-time, went for interview confirmed with the manager that the position was sheishain. Got the job offer which didn't have details of employment type just pay, title, holiday and benefits, accepted and resigned from current job. Got the contract of employment through today to start on boarding, contract clearly states Keiyaku shain and the contract is for only 6 months…. wtf?
I don't want be employed unless its sheishain, I have young kids and and a mortgage. I can't really go back to my old job, as I hate it and its a dead end. I doubt I can find a job quickly enough before more resignation period finishes and will probably loose hoikuen placements for both kids.
Is this worth going to speak to MHLW, HelloWork or even a solicitor?
does Full-time mean sheishain or just full time hours?
I'm comfused and hate Japan more and more each day…
