I’m currently studying at a Japanese language school in Osaka and recently passed the Specified Skilled Worker (SSW) — Accommodation (特定技能1号・宿泊) exam. My next step is to find a sponsoring employer in Osaka before my student visa expires at the end of June.
About my situation:
– Based in Osaka
– Open to front desk or other hotel-related positions
– Japanese level around N3
I’d really appreciate advice on:
1) Hotels in Osaka that are known to sponsor SSW in accommodation
2) How long the process usually takes from job offer to visa change
3) Whether agencies actually help in practice or if direct applications work better
