I stepped out to a favorite local ramen joint for lunch today and the guy next to me who was clearly on a lunch break from work started off the meal by pounding back 4 beers, chasing it with a double side order of chashu, and then when his large order of ramen (without noodles) arrived he pounded back the soup, chashu, and nori, and left. It’s maybe not the wildest thing you could do at a iekei ramen joint on a Tuesday afternoon but it certainly caught me off guard.
Which all brought to mind the question, what’s the wildest or strangest order you’ve witnessed here?
