Hello Everyone,
Planning a trip to Japan from Singapore ( 10days) in May (after golden week). We are a group of 7 ( 6 adults, 1 kid is 13)
Day 1 – land in Osaka – Osaka Castle ( from outside), Shinsekai , Dotonbori (night life). Spend the night there
Day 2 – Check out (9am) – Train to Kyoto – Drop bags – Nara – kyoto
Day 3 – Kyoto – Fushimi Inari Taisha + kiyomizu-dera + sannenzaka +nienzaka + gion
Day 4 – Kyoto – Arashiyama Bamboo Grove + Tenryu-ji +Okochi Sanso Villa + Gio-ji + Togetsukyo Bridge
Day 5 – check out – train to Tokyo + check in + explore nearby ( planning to stay near shinjuku – open to other reccos)
Day 6 – Asakusa → Ueno → Akibhara electric town
Day 7 – Day trip – mt fuji – rent car
Day 8 – Harajuku → Shibuyu → Shinjuku
Day 9 – Day trip – Nikko or Kamarakura and Enoshima
Day 10 – morning checkout – airport
We are mainly keen on cultural/historic/outdoor stuff, not big on food since we all are vegetarians and also not big on anime or pokemon.
Questions :
- Is this a feasible itineary?
- Is 2 day trips too much or should we keep 1 or keep 2D1N in fuji?
- What can we do in Tokyo half day (day 5)?
Any other tips or reccomendations are welcome!!
