So I believed I was safe, but it dud happen to me. Received a letter from my ISP about disclosing my information to a Jav company's AV that I torrented 8 months ago. Contacted the lawyer about it.
Seen a number of posts here, but never any updates, which is frightening to say the least. I am open for settling it, but I worry that if I do, they will just keep sending me these letters until I have no money left.
Some advised to disagree to a disclousure if it's just for 1 file. Or that there were no actual lawsuits that followed, since the copyright holders could not be bothered.
But how much of it is true?
Also the letter from the copyright was from October, but Isp only delivered it to me in January, is it supposed to be this late?
