Social life & dating as an international student in Tokyo?

Hi all.

I’m currently living in Tokyo as a graduate student and wanted to ask about the social scene from people already here.

How common is it to meet other international students or expats (Eastern Europeans (country, gender, etc.) through universities, language exchanges, or events?

Any recommendations for places or activities that are more social and student-friendly?
Just curious about people’s experiences living here. Thanks.
