The largest opposition aims at the abolishment of the new freelance invoice system, which is said to harmful to Anime industries

CRA(Centrist Reform Alliance, Chūdo Kaikaku Rengō in Japanese), the largest opposition party in Japan, has declared to abolish the Japanese new freelance invoice system in its statements as a manifesto for the election held on 8 February.

The freelance invoice system, which was put into force in October 2023 by the government led by LDP, the current ruling party, is notorious among Japanese Otakus as harmful to Japanese anime industries. Retirements of many talented voiceactors around 2023 are sometimes attributed to it.
