What irrelevant drama is this that makes you think one person is making a group of people look bad.
One of the reasons I moved here was to get away from this toxic group identity mentality that one person represents a whole group of people. One person represents one person, themselves.
I know this guy too. He had my friends truck. Said it was only going to be 1 month to get painted. He had it for 4 months, kept delaying and delaying, making up excuses. Finally said they were starting work, and it would be done in a week. Then after asking for an update said they still hadn’t started.
On top of that the quality of the work was awful. All the lines and overspray, painting directly over rust, etc.
To cap it off, when the truck was finally ready for pickup, it was running and the truck owner shut it off then tried to restart it and it wouldn’t turn. Shop owner had killed the new battery that it was dropped off with and had jumped it right before pickup, hoping we wouldn’t notice until we left . Then he got pissed at being caught and yelled at us for shutting off the car, then refused to pay for a replacement battery.
