Hi, we're planning a trip in October that will include hiking the Nakasendo Trail from Magome to Tsumago. (Probably staying in Magome the night before, and hit the trail in the morning before the crowds.) I think it would be fun to go to an onsen town afterwards and saw that Hirugami Onsen is nearby, and read that it's only about a 40 minute drive from Tsumago. Does that sound right? Is it easy to get a taxi or Uber to Hirugami and about how much would that cost? From Hirugami, we'd be going down to Kyoto, so I'm wondering if we would taxi/Uber back to get the train near Tsumago, or if there is a better option from Hirugami. Thanks for any advice!
